In order to have your child baptized at Our Lady of Grace, you must attend the Baptismal Preparation Class at least three months before the anticipated Baptism. Classes are held on the last Tuesday of the month in the Witka Media Center at 7:00pm. To register and take the first step toward baptizing your child, fill out the Baptismal Preparation Class Registration form below to sign up for an upcoming class. If you are interested in having a child who is over the age of 7 baptized or are interested in joining the Catholic Church, you will most likely need to participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).  Please email [email protected].

At Our Lady of Grace, First Reconciliation takes place while a student is in 2nd Grade. Sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation is part of our Elementary Religious Education program. It is a two year program and requires that the child is registered for 1st Grade and then 2nd grade by Oct. 1.

Intermediate Sacramental Preparation is for youth who have been baptized Catholic but for whatever reason missed making their First Reconciliation and First Eucharist in 2nd Grade.  It is a two year process.  The youth must be registered in the appropriate faith formation program (3rd - 11th grade) by October 1st for the first year. They will begin sacramental specific formation in year 2, which also requires registration by October 1.

At Our Lady of Grace, Confirmation commonly takes place in the 10th grade, though 11th and 12th grade students are welcome.  Sacramental preparation is a two-year commitment that includes a day of discernment,  a Confirmation Retreat, formation meetings with adult mentors in faith, and making a parish commitment.  Registration Deadline is October 1st for year 1. Adult Confirmation

We welcome couples to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage at Our Lady of Grace. We invite you to contact the Church Office to set up a date/time to meet with one of our priests. The usual pre-marital preparation process involves the administration and discussion of a pre-marital inventory, participation in a Pre-Cana workshop or the Sponsor Couple program, completion of the necessary paperwork, and planning of the ceremony, including music for the wedding. According to the policy of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana, the first meeting between the couple and the priest must take place at least six months before the wedding date.

• If you are Interested in joining the Catholic Church;

• If you are baptized Catholic, but never received any other sacraments in the Church;

• If you are a baptized Catholic, and would like to learn more about your Catholic faith;

• If you are Catholic and you have children over the age of 7 who have not yet been baptized.
